The increased resistance to corrosion and pitting predestined these steels for use in the chemical industry, nuclear power, vacuum technology, reactor instrumentation, submarine construction, furnace construction, Transsulfit, sulfite pulp, textile, color, fatty acid, photo chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This material is becoming increasingly used in exhaust technology.
